I admit it. I am a Starbucks junkie. I love the variety of frothy-deliciousness I can customize, de-calorize and lovingly partake in - any time of day.
Unfortunately - I am no fool. I realize that no matter how many ways I tone down the devilish drink... it's still empty calories - wreaking havoc on my body. No whip. Non-Fat. Sugar-free... Doesn't matter.
Not exactly inspiring when I think about getting in my wedding dress for my first fitting in a few weeks.
So today - I opted for a protein shake instead. Hopefully more filling than a frappuccino... this drink is bursting with blueberries, pineapple, rice milk and whey protein. Delicious and satisfying...yes... but getting me over my caffeinated, high-calorie cravings... not so much.
Still my eye is on the prize now, with only 7 months to go before our wedding day. It might just be a baby step for now... but one I hope to turn into greater strides in the near future. :)
