ABOUT THE GROOM: (IN MEG'S EYES)
HOW WE MET:
It all started in June of 2010 on a social networking iPhone application called "Who's Here." Colby happened to pop up and start a conversation just as I was starting to lose interest in chatting with random strangers. I had never had any intention of physically meeting anyone off the application - but it had been fun and helped me pass the time for a while when I was unemployed. Just as I was ready to move on... Colby appeared on my screen. It didn't take long for either one of us to realize that not only did we have a lot in common - we also had people, places and personal history in common.
From that point on - what would seem like somewhat of a "whirlwind" romance to some - was actually built on hours and hours of constant conversation... literally spilling all the details of each others' lives - mostly over glasses of wine sitting outside beneath the summer night sky...
It wasn't long before we realized that we were meant to be - and neither of us have ever been happier than we have been since we've been together. We are both really excited to spend the rest of our lives loving each other and are looking forward to celebrating with our friends and family on August 11, 2012!
